The PTA is solely responsible for providing funding for exciting events for our children, to name a few:
· sending the junior children to Te Papa (2008);
· sending the junior school to the Zoo (2009);
· treating both junior & senior children to the movies (2008 & 2009);
· providing school discos (2007, 2008 & 2009).
Funding available for senior projects.
The primary role of the PTA has been to organize fundraising events for Kāpiti Primary School students. We have a dedicated committee, but due to life changes and commitments, these members are moving on. For those of you who remember 2006/7 there was no committee and consequently the children missed out on going to places like the Zoo & Te Papa. Often these trips are a highlight of your child's schooling year!
